    You really have to wonder...

I've just received the latest Swans newsletter, and in it they make mention of the players delisted.

If you go by the info in the email, even the club is saying Aaron Rogers only played one game. You'd think someone would verify this information before it gets sent out to the entire membership base.

The kid played two games this year.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Yep, he debuted against Essendon in Melbourne - I was there!!!

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

i think even he would want to forget that game..he made a few clangers, including giving away a 50m penalty in front of goal by walking across the mark

That 50m penalty was not his fault...he was within 5m of his direct opponent and therefore did nothing wrong; remember that was the Essendon game!!
            - Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!

whatever... in that game he showed he wasn't good enough, and its not often you can say that after one game.
"As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.

It's a shame because he showed (Rogers) promise in the pre season and he is a good size but to late now!

IIRC, he only got 8 minutes game time so it's a bit harsh. As a rookie, I thought he should have stayed on as it doesn't help with the list space anyway.

They must turnover players on the Rookie list. It has proved a boon for most sides so new blood is a must.
