Thanks anniswan. I was going to post it eventually. I will make completely mindless replies from time to time to keep the thread near the top. Also gets my count up...

Just moving us back to the top of the page. BTW, the AFL web site did a phantom Brownlow. B Hall came 2nd. I've got a feelking in my bones it could be BBBH's night tomorrow night. That said, I had a feeling we'd beat St Kilda a week ago too.

Whilst I am happy to do the commentary, I must state that I DON"T want a Swans player to win, the winner rarely has a good year the next year, with the exception of a few.

Forgeting Goodes for the moment, when did Paul Kelly win it? Was it 95, I really cannot remember

Yes 1995, and had a great year in 1996...

So I am happy for a P. Kelly scenario to happen

I agree, and wouldn't mind if it was the Kangas again too (provided we led by at least 45 at 3/4 time )

Yep I want the Kangas too...Can't see it happening though Have to settle for Collingwood lol.

Think North will always be a mediocre team from now on thanks to an inability to raise huge amounts of money.

I am talking more about Crawford, Woewodin, Goodes/Buckley, none of these players had good years after winning.

Well I'd like to see Jude Bolton win it then. It would inflate his price and we could trade him off to have a crap year somewhere else

I don't think we need worry about Barry winning it. This from an article in The Age:

As an award for the league's best-and-fairest player, the manner in which players conduct themselves plays a significant role. And that does include how they interact with the umpires. Abuse does not help the cause.

                          ****ing maggots.

This journo should win the award for stating the bleeding obvious!

I'd join in the chat, but have band practice tonight. So it's a workout for my VCR tonight and a night away from the internet and anything Brownlow related for me
If u don't believe me, I will knock your bloody teeth out and not pay you a cent.
