Ranking the players seasons

Again i was bored in the tute.. decided to try and rate each players season out of 10...(those who played seniors)... sorry if i forget anyone... i rate based on what their expectations should of been and how they went in comparison to those.. so mcveigh would find it eaier to get a high mark than hall for instance

1- Hall 9.5
2- Davis 5
3- Mcveigh 6
4- Mathews 7
5- Okeefe 8
6- C.Bolton 8
9- Fixter 2.5
10- Williams 6.5
11- Maxfield 5.5
12- Fosdike 4
13- Schnieder 3.5
15- Doyle 5.5
17 Kennelly 8
18- James 3.5
19- Oloughlin 7
20- Ablett 5.5
21- Barry 9
22- Saddington 5
23- Nicks 7.5
24- J.Bolton 8
25- Schuable 5
27- Ball 7
28- Crouch 7.5
29- Powell 4.5
30- Roberts-Thompson 2
31- Kirk 9
32- Buchanan 7.5
33- Warfe 0.5
37- Goodes 5.5
38- Thewlis 4
42- Bevan 8
43- Meikeljohn 1
45- Rogers 2.5

anyway ill try to focus in class and not get bored from now on

Hard to argue with the general tenor. A pretty fair list.

My only significant variations would be:
Maxfield 6.5 (he provided the heart & soul of the team, even if not having a stellar game personally)
Fosdike 6 (I know that Fosdike-hating is a full-time occupation for some, but he did fine in most of those games that he played)
Saddington 7 (I don't think you should get marked down for an injury you can't control, and prior to the injury he'd shown every sign that 2004 was going to be the long, long-awaited year when he took his game to the next level)
Kennelly 9 (was absolutely outstanding- has achieved a rare balance between accountability and counter-attacking flair)

There's also a few who I'd mark lower (Goodes had some good games, but generally fell so far short of his high 2003 standards that it wasn't funny), but I won't dwell on the negative bits.

Don't forget his knee injury and how he had to play a diff position that he had to get used to.

Appart from that, I prefer last years performance. The majority is he played good. [better than some players I admit]

I pretty much agree with all your rankings. Perhaps Nic Davis should be 4 at tops due to injury after such a bright opening round (half) against Brisbane in round 1.
