Hmmmmm...not looking too good is it? There's only Freo now who haven't won a flag since we won our last....
          Gee, they couldn't, could they....
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

40 bloody 3, and 1 G.F. appearance. Why couldnt my family have barracked for someone else?. At least Port Melb in the South Melb days were consistently near the top of the ladder

44 barren years - Fitzroy 1960-1996, Swans 1996 till I die. Jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire! But every year I am always hopeful.

I've been waiting since 1964, when I converted from St Kilda(I always felt sorry the underdog as we were then).

I had it hard in those days, I went to Essendon State School right behind Windy Hill.

So I've been waiting 40 years.....

I've seen man land on the moon, computers, mobile phones and colour telly in that time....but need a flag to top it off..

Always hoping that it will be next year or the next year or the next........

Nah, but it was good that they beat Collingwood. I just hope we could do something similiar to Collingwood, Essendon, Carlton etc. Particularly if Bazza kicks it after the siren from 60+.....

BTW - the worst thing about Port Adelaide winning is that in 9 months time there will be an explosion of feral bogans...
