Are we going to miss the boat

According to Roos we are going to be very active in the trade period but only Ottens and Symmonds have been initially linked to Sydney and both look destined for other teams. The only way I can see us getting one of these guys is to pay way more than they are worth.
Richmond want 2 first round draft picks for Ottens , if we are willing to pay this we should have had a crack at Nathan Brown when he was on the market last year to me he is a way better player than Ottens.

Maybe Roosy is going to pull a few tricks out of his hat as long as we don't chase players past their best ie Crawford.

Not knowing who we are after is killing me ..........has anyone got Roosy's mobile number.

Roll on next friday then we shall know

There will be shocks all over the place I have no doubt.

It is likely that clubs will come up with some players they are willing to trade and trade for that we just didn't expect.

                    Likewise. The game needs livewires.

Aker is only 27. I love watching him play and I love the publicity he gernerates for the club and the game in Brisbane.

My only concern: Our side has probably one the best team mentalities in the league. We are an even side which works well together. I'm not sure how well Aker would fit into this environment.

Hmmm as I say add WN Aker and you get how I feel on him.

Goes without saying a class player, but in the overall set up for Sydney, what would it take to get him here (If Bris were crazy enough to let him go)

if akker could come to the swans (which i doubt) i would trade anyone bar barry hall for him basically

he has at least 4 years prossibly even more left and is a star player
