I wonder what happened to the Telstra Stadium agreement where one pre season game was always going to be played there?

I don't mind though as the atmosphere is usually lacking when there are 2000 people there in an 80,000 stadium!

Perhaps only comes into play if Sydney are awarded a 'home' Wizard Cup match, like if we are awarded a final.

Probably just have a first choice clause for these things.

142 to the first game that weekend.

          I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I wonder if the league is thinking about perhaps playing a double header at the Dome on the Saturday? I think it would be a great way to get extra people through the gate and give some extra value for money.

Have before in 2001 when they played a day game at 1pm cleared out the stadium, opened the gates again at 7pm and held a game at 8.30pm. I think the also played a practice match as well in between.

We have just got to win the first round so I will be able to travel just an hour along to Launceston and York Park to see us play without having to catch a plane or that Spirit of Tasmania. It is the middle of the night when I am writing this as I am too excited to sleep just thinking that I'll be able to see us play.
I am sick of driving to Lonnie just to see Hawthorn and St.Kilda play. York Park has changed a lot since I haunted it as a kid watching my first red and white team(City-South) play. It is now a really good ground to watch footy.(I used to sit in the hedge behind the goals at the northern end so I could watch one brother play footy and over the fence my other brother play hockey). All that is gone, even the name has just been changed this week to Aurora Stadium(which reminds me I must pay my Hydro bill).______GO SWANNIES beat those Doggies and make a N.W. Coast fanatic happy.
