    travis johnstone

I feel that the swans could be targetting bruce and johnstone from melbourne, either would be a good pickup, i would say both would require top 10 draft picks.

I think johnstone would be a better pickup, not by much though, i just think that if he can have 22 injury free games he would be up with judd.

I think TJ or Bruce would both be good additions - can't see the Dees letting both of them go though

I'd love to have Bruce, but I'm not remotely interested in Johnstone.

According to a poster on the Big Footy website, TJ was seen in Sydney today (30/9).

Travis Johnstone was seen in Sydney today. Unless their is a bookie prepared to give him credit I would guess he was up there to talk to the Swans. If they start splashing the cash he is theirs as money would have to be his key driver (after all I don't think there is much in the bank). Oh...

Other posters say he won't leave Victoria because of his partner and her child.

Too injury prone for my liking.

I would have him, for Fosdike,Sundqist and draft pick.Well worth it i reckon.
Maybe i will ask him when i see him this year at caulfield during spring carnival in the bookies ring by himself like i do every other year(see him that is)

Travis Johnston is pure class. He has had a long running battle with injuries which has resulted in a lot of people not realising how good he actually is.

If he plays 22 games next year he will give the brownlow a real shake.

We are missing players with true class. We have far too many who try hard but lack class.

TJ would be a great asset for the club and if anyone thinks otherwise I suggest they open their eyes to other teams rather than being stupidly one-eyed.

And by the way Grant - who cares if TJ is in the betting ring at the Spring Carnival??????????????

He loves his racing and goes a lot during the year and is involved at many levels, not like the majority of the moronic ring-ins that go to the carnival.

It's better to see footballers by themselves in the betting ring rather than being absolutely smashed in some marquee talking to some whore who can't string two words together.

Maybe you could open your own eyes and read what you have typed!. "Long running battle with injuries" great just what we need a guy who we trade the world for and can play only part of the season we already have players that fall into that glass. and for that reason alone I would pass on TJ

Pffft, so most clubs would pass on Magic as well I suppose???

When a player has the class of those two I dont think you decide not to go after them due to injuries.

If I was another club, I certainly wouldn't trade anything too valuable for O'Loughlin.

Well actually Mickey was interested in returning to SA a few years back if a trade could be brokered but the interested party would not come up with the goods, reason was because he was so injury prone its hard to pay out full value when you know theres a could chance you wont acutally recieve it in return(by the way I would be devasted if the deal had happened) You cant help but wonder what would of happened aganist brisbane last year if he and Ball had been fit, see my point!.

I would take TJ but I would laugh if he comes.

Another player who will cop it for poor foot skills. Hw ould add something to the mix in our midfield.

He has some Gerard Healy like properties. If only Melb had another Kevin Dyson to give us.

I saw Nathan Brown on a flight to Sydney last year so I wouldn't read too much into it.
