He could not be any worse than Goodes!
I think Adam shoud be playing alongside Ponting and Co. with his overuse of bum pats.

Gawd help us, is a proven ball getter who is at a club were he has fallen behind 2 others (Burns & Licuria). Was great in his early time at Coll before falling away, is clearly starved of opportunities to play in his natural position (centre), where we clearly do not have another option.

Is a fat arsed centreman, exactly what we need, is a great handballer actually.

the fact that he has fallen behind those 2 says something about him - solid, honest players at best

If we are going to give off a late pick, why not get him? He has shown that he COULD be a good player, maybe requires a change of enviro, Sydneys speciality. He may be unfit or slow, but with the way Roosy works em in the off season (eg 100x100m sprints) i think that can be changed. If he proves to be the clea hand, hard midfielder we are lookin for, why not? Give him a look in. We have spped to burn through our running midfield and back line, so why not try it?
              - Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!

O'Bree is a bit of a turnover merchant from my observations and all my Collingwood mates want him delisted if he's not traded.

I take it we stilll havent managed to snag a trade yet. That leaves only 2 more days and so far there has been very little actual trading from any club.

So far only N. Thompson, T. Stenglein, and S. Thompson are changing clubs. Have I missed anyone? Not very much happening yet at all. Is it going to get bigger or will this be the most uneventful trade week in years?

It's becoming increasingly difficult to see which GUN midfielder and ruckman we are going to acquire?

Wait for the traditional Friday Frenzy before you decide how active a trading week its been compared to others. Its very common to have little happen in the first four days of the trade week when there isn't the deadline looming.

O Bree, has a pistol license.

A GUN midfielder is a Greatly Underperformed Nobody!!

Ruckman? That was a typo, they're after a rakeman for the SCG turf!

I can see another recyle of our players in the draft again
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

If we miss the boat in trading for a gun player so be it, then we use our draft choices to get the best quality youngsters we can

hopefully Roos and co. don't trade for average experienced players (e.g. obree) just for the sake of it

if we don't trade it obvioulsy won't fix our immediate weaknesses or help our 2005 premiership chances it would put us in better shape to have a real tilt in 2006 and beyond

I definitely don't want us to trade for some average players, but if we miss out on some good players then 2005 will be a bit of a waste of time.

                                forever the optimist ey!

I DONT think we need a player like O'Bree. I'd rather keep our 2nd or 3rd or 4th round pick and hope to get lucky in the draft; we're definately not going to get lucky with O'Bree!
