Goodes is too big, not fast enough and refuses to go in after the ball. Davis likewise wont put his body on the line.

Maxfield is going to struggle to have any influence in the midfield, not least of all because he wont be playing.

Abblet and Dempster are worth working on.,..

Haha this is funny many of you still dont accept the contibution Fosdike has made to our midfield.

What ever our midfield mix next year Fosdike will be in it. He would be permanently inked onto the team sheet. There is no-one in our reserves at the moment who would walk in and have the impact or be able to replace Fosdike. (when Fosdike was injured who stood up and took there chance???)

The guy has a huge engine - can run all day, great hands, good footskills is a great link player, with Buchanan Bolton and Kirk in and under, how many times did they get the quick HB out to Fossie because he knew where to be?

Talking about players who could improve next season, given his finish to a injury interupted season, Fosdike should be in for a big year next year

Fossie (probably equal with LRT)is the most underated player in our squad
lucky RWO'ers dont pick the team...hehe.

        Cheers

This is the sort of bollocks you expect from a non-Swans supporter who thinks Goodes is soft coz he doesn't throw his weight around. Watch the finals again & note the number of times Goodes commits his body to win the ball - damn sight more than most blokes his size.

He won't ever be a classic midfielder but for mine the biggest difference between Swans the mid-season strugglers and Swans the 2005 premiers was that Goodes started providing some real run and link from defence to attack (as well as the small matter that we started to kick a whole bunch straighter too). Kinda sounds like what you'd want your midfielders to do, ne?

You asked Wazza what's a contibution, can I ask how you have 'been a supported'?????

It's a bit rich to say that Goodes is soft. The guy is an absolute gun and played a big part in us winning the premiership.

Yep, read yr "quote". Didn't mention anything about your stalwart support of the Swans. IIRC it was just a series of trite generalisations about premiership players you don't seem to rate.

My wagon-jumping status is unlikely to disqualify me from knowing that Goodes is tough at the ball even if he's not tough at the man. He'll do for me.

Yes you may ask, thank you for taking the time to enquire. I believe this term is derived from the ancient greeks who's religious belief forbade them from using the letter 'r'

so it should have read "suppodted", is that right?

So based on all this, you should have known what a 'contibution' was.
