    Jolly interview on SEN

Great interview he is absolutely rapt to be a swan "over the moon" were his exact words
He spoke really well and has stated he has only played one full game in his career and is hungry for opportunities.

Maybe he knows something about Ball that we don't know, cause if ball goes on i can only see that figure of 1 in 4 yrs going to 1 in 5.

The guys on SEN made a good point about pick 15, in the last four years it hasn't produced a player of note.

Thing with Melbourne is that they never played him forward or as a floating backman when White was rucking. That is why he has not been given full game opportunities.

No need for Goodes to ruck and so he can play as a running ruck rover or tall wingman pushing forward or back when needed (more back to cover our lack of height).

I like this trade, gives us more height across the board and means we can let LRT develop into the KP Defender the club think he can be.

Leigh Matthews is a big supporter of having at least 4 ruckman on their list at any given time. Looks like Roos (who has previously stated he wants to replicate what Leigh does) seems to like the flexibility 4 ruckman gives him.

Excuse my ignorance but what does SEN stand for? I'd like to have a look at the interview. Thanks.

Its an all-sports-all-talk radio station in Melbourne. Has all the fooy-guys on as hosts all day. Can listen on the net if ur outside Melb like me (there was a link on here the other day BUT it keeps dropping out @ work, but that's probably our bandwidth, not SEN's fault).

                  www.3ak.com.au - listen tab

In windows media player try playing with the tools options buffering. Increase the time a bit. It will take a little longer to start but can ease the drop outs as it downloads a larger chunk before it starts playing.

Will be listening this afternoon when hopefully we'll all be talking about the gun midfielder that we have snared.

Well in 2001 James Kelly went at #17 so there are players still out there if teams draft properly.

was that the chriss judd, etc, draft? If so, there were still quality players at pick 70. But that doesnt happen very often.

That was the draft we picked up Schneider at #60 I think, so you are quite right about the depth that year!
