Brisbane won't be letting go of Notting and i doubt that Shattock would add much to our playing list

Shattock wants to go home to a SA club so doubt we'd get him

Notting was never an option. i think it just started as someone suggesting that he would be tops to have in the side and isnt exactly used too well in Brisbane. It was alng with Hadley, but the Notting one seemed to take off for some reason.

Probably because of the interest we showed in him last year provoked the reaction that we could/would snare him this year.

"Our priority now is still trying to get an elite midfielder or getting back into the draft for an early pick," said Roos.
I like this attitude. If we cannot improve our playing list by getting our 'elite' midfielder. Improve it by injecting some young.

Possible a Fosdike and another player trade to Port or Adelaide for 11th or 8th pick in the draft.

When I heard that a first round draft pick had been traded for Jolly, I was a bit doubtful. I would have given a second round. However, it was decent pick up. It would be great if Roos and the team could trade for a first round draft pick.

From the way everyone was talking here, it sounded like Notting was every chance to end up in Sydney! Notting vs Bruce vs Johnston vs O'Bree vs every other free agent..

Talking about the real World...I have a Dream

A dream where we trade for three champion midfielders and two
tall and strong key defenders and win the next 4 Premierships (ha ha to Brisbane).

Then I wake up and we have Jolly and somehow I don't feel so Jolly.

Oh well back to my dream.
