good old Crouchie. So I guess we will be seeing 3 out of 4 Swans players. Not too bad! Feel sorry for Jude, hopefully he will get his chance at some stage. I will enjoy supporting players like Hird and Riewoldt for once!

I'm presuming it will be 4 out of 5.

You honestly didn't think Crouchy would miss did you?!?!

Looking forward to the game tonight. I reckon C.Bolton will be a natural at IR.

I don't really know why, but of all the Swans playing tonight (maybe apart from Tadhg), B2 strikes me as the one who will adapt to it the best, too. Should be an interesting game tonight...I can't wait!

I cant say I see the attraction to this silly hybrid game, but each to there own I guess I wont be watching but pray for no injurys for the Sydney boys involved.

I just hope the boys enjoy the experience and come back in one piece. Would watch if it weren't at such a frustrating time.

I love the IR. It makes off-season just that little bit more bareable. It's funny that many of my friends who don't usually watch footy love to watch it, and do so every year. They're even teaching it, rather than Aussie Rules, at my old school now.

And Tadhg's obvious advantage doesn't hurt, either.

I love these matches cos I can never lose! (Well not as long as Tadhg plays for Ireland anyway!)

It staggers me that people bag this game. Its what 7's is to rugby, or one-dayers are to cricket, or half-maratons are to marathons. Just a variation to fill a particular need.
Dont get too hung up on it. Take it as a chance to see the best AFL players, play together in a fast paced game that seems to always be close.

                      I'll be setting the VCR.

Too right, only real chance to see the best bunch of players playing together, might as well make the most of the oppurtunity. Besides, if we are to pick up any injuries, then its the best possible time to do so.

It is a round ball, on a soccer field.

I like Football. Not whatever that crap is.

Good on whoever likes it, but it doesn't fill any need I have ever had.

Problem is most of the All-Australians didn't play.

Until we pick a soccer goalie to play in goal we're just mucking around and nobody should take the game seriously. Still, I like seeing the fights when they break out.
