Seems likely that Scooter is heading to Adelaide. Hope for his sake he can get some decent game time there.

Also, Nick Davis and Nic Fosdike?s names are still being thrown around, interesting that the club is still prepared to trade them. Don?t know how that would work considering Davis said he won?t go anywhere ? A club can?t force a player out can they ?

In other news Roos said the plan for next year was to get the younger kids to take the next step. He is satisfied with the older players like Hall, Mathews, Maxfield, Crouch etc and doesn?t expect more from them other than good, consistent football. He said he wants everyone to work as a team, to go after the ball no matter what and to put in 110 %. He wants the younger players to take this on board and really prove themselves, for the long term it will be this tier of young players that will carry the club. One they will be watching closely is Schneider. Even taking in his injury worries they were a little disappointed with him, hoping his form can pick up and get back to how it was last year. They were most pleased with the efforts of Monty, O?Keefe, Hall and Bevan.

Roos said the main focus for next season will be on two key factors; effort and consistency.

They can only be delisted now. No player can be traded until trade week 2005 now.

funny you ask that Bart. I was thinking a while back about trying to arrange our own RWO awards. The categories could be best, longest, most articulate with many others and of course Dumb arse would also be one.

darn it another one of my favs have gone why dont they just get rid of all of them we get rid of them but we keep a crap player that hasnt done much it sucks

Bas, not making up porkies. I get criticised for saying nothing, and criticised when I do. Can't win.

I mentioned Davis and Fosdike again because the club still isn't 100% happy with either. Fozzie kicked up a stink about coming back into reserves - flatly refused - and there is still some bad blood. Davis dug his own grave with his disappearing act and 'don't know if I can be bothered' attitude. The club can only try and do so much for a player.

I talked about what Roos had said because there has been questions recently about Roos? plans and I was just reinforcing that they are still following their youth policy, and what he expects now from the young players.

I haven?t hurt anyone, or attacked someone personally or called them a dumb arse for a na?ve question. I?d rather you ignore my post than put me down. Though I guess this forum would be boring if we all came here and agreed on the same thing ?

I?m not in your clique nor am I trying to be. I enjoy the camaraderie here during the season but that, and my passion for the swans, is where the similarities end
