Are we still in the AFL?

Not according to this article by Matt Burgan on the AFL website:

    The draft order
    As at October 19
    Adelaide: 8, 24, 28
    Brisbane Lions: 18, 27, 43, 48
    Carlton: 9, 25, 39 (L.Blackwell F/S), 66, 69, 70
    Collingwood: 10, 23, 38 (T.Cloke F/S), 52
    Essendon: 14, 30, 44, 56
    Fremantle: 55, 61, 63, 68
    Geelong: 32, 46 (N.Ablett F/S), 58
    Hawthorn: 2, 5, 7, 21, 26, 50
    Kangaroos: 40 (J.W.Smith F/S), 54, 62, 67
    Melbourne: 13, 15, 41
    Port Adelaide: 11, 19, 34
    Richmond: 1, 4, 12, 16, 20, 35, 49, 60, 65
It seems the AFL has gone back to a 12 team comp

Perhaps the Sydney Football League couldn't convince the reserves to move out of Canberra but managed to pull the seniors out of the AFL to join the local comp?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

That is true mate. Fremantle are a football CLUB. West Coast are a corporate excuse for a sporting franchise.

And yet I've seen the AFL site listing Sydney as playing 2 games on some weekends, so we've gone from 2 Sydney teams to none...

          I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Seriously, how come this incredible wit has not been discovered and you are not on tours of the world displaying this awesome power of comedic genius. I'm sure glad i'm not the West Coast football club or Telstra, because I would be burning from that heary zing.
