Was in Bay 6 this season, considering moving up into the O'Reilly stand to get a better view - or maybe the Noble Stand. Good view from bay 6, crowd can be a bit flat sometimes though.
Although where I sit next year will partly depend on where my mother sits - I don't have many Swans-supporting friends!

I'm in Bay 7, next to Destructive. Mike_B and Swansinger are also in that bay. Not a bad view of the action, and a reasonable atmosphere although it can be a bit quiet sometimes.
Before the game and at half time I'll pop round to say hello to the cheer squad, and for SCG games I'm a regular at the after match in the MA Noble.

                honestly,

let me say this once YOU WERE AT A PUB. Why does everyone have to only watch the game. Perhaps this particular Pub was their local and you being there screaming at a TV was intterupting their normal everyday life.

Get over it and just don't go back if it was that bad. Or on second thoughts go to the Fox and Lion which is perceived to be even more plastic.

You could probably argue that people who decide their way of supporting a team is the right way and anyone who does differently to them is wrong are the most arrogant supporters.

not everyone has to be a toothless bogan to support a football team.

the fact that someone has a higher economic standing than someone else should have no bearing on whether they should be allowed to support a football team.

Ahhhh....NOT Bay 29 then. Would you rather there was no-one there at all? I think part time supporters are something that will always be a part of a Swans game, because you'll always get League/Union followers and the curious out for a look see. Plus the ladies out for a perv

On a brighter note, am happy to report that I have recruited a local lady and her English boyfriend as members for next year. I will try to get them to avoid lattes/cherdonnay/leather jackets/trendy gear and nice scarves as much as possible.

The Queen supports the Swannies?? I'd always seen her as more of a Dees tragic. (Phil probably goes for the Pies.) Then I noticed that you're in Tassie and so may have just been a bit premature and were really talking about Princess Mary. Now she's Danish she has to adapt Swans' colours.

We're thinking of moving from the O'Reilly Concourse. How cold is it in the mid winter shade over near the player's race and bench? I'd really like some advice on this before making my request.

I have just gone and rubbed my scarf in the garden in case it does not pass the 'real supporter' test.

We moved from the O'Reilly concourse last year (after 5 years there) to Bay 29. It has been awesome, there seem to be alot more members where we sit, more colour and alot more noise. We always felt a little detatched from the O'Reilly stand and the concourse seemed to have alot of transient supporters. We have now made friends with two families behind us and get lots of hellos from everyone around us. When a chant goes up everyone seems to follow and I have never been told to shut up or copped a dirty look. And I am rather loud.

It is colder in the sense you don't have that awesome afternoon sun, but not freezing. You certainly won't miss the sun bieing in your eyes. Plus, you get to scream your lungs out as the boys go into the rooms after a big win. THAT is cool.
