                    It's probably just an excuse because Jared Crouch blew a running shoe halfway down the Hume Highway. Otherwise it would have been overnight delivery.

                        The place could be marketed as the home of AFL Footy in Sydney. And promote itself as a place for expats from interstate to come and watch matches on the big screen upstairs.

                        Anything is better than the Alexandria Hotel. Or even worse, the impersonal Fox & Lion at evil 'NRL on Fox' Studios.

                        Couple of times i went to The Alex i had pretty good time, the guy who owns the pubs dad is a champion bloke, but having said that it was never the 'official' venue.

                        Also been to Afl club in Kings x and not a bad venue if a bit old and tired.

                        My only problem with the move is the distance and accessabilty, Being in Kings X kind of rules out anyone with a car and just the physical distance will deter a lot of people from going. I know it is not exactly an expedition but people like convenience.

                        Ideally we need a decent pub near the ground, but will setttle for anywhere other than F&L
