    Basics

Eade never taught these boys how to play basic footy. Bolton (Craig that is, Jude lacks it) was able to play basic footy, was a cool head under pressure and thought about it before releasing. The others were rushed whether this be by poor shepherding and helping out matees i dont know. I saw N Davis in the middle of the ground in the last quarter miss a simple shepherd which allowed i think Woods to lay half a tackle on a kicking Maxfield who thought that the shepherd would have been affected.
There is the new Multiplex 1% award. The players should aim for this. St Kilda did it successfully against the Crows, this being the main reason for their awesome victory. They need to realise that they have to play as a team and do the small things right and the rest will follow
    - Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!

Eade can't be blamed for Davis!

I agree though that under Eade, the emphasis seemed too much on strategy rather than skills... Rocket, this is footy... not Age of Empires...
    We hate Anthony Rocca
    We hate Shannon Grant too
    We hate scumbag Gaspar

I would have thought that by AFL level most of them should have the basic skills and need to work more than previously on game plans.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

"[T]here are things that matter more and he's reading and thinking about them: heaven, reincarnation. Life and death are the only things that are truly a matter of life and death. Not football."

Sloppy is the best way to describe our performance in the last three quarters. Actually, I think we were a bit sloppy in the first but the Dockers hadn't turned on the pressure. If the hand balls and kicks are wayward and marks aren't taken it ramps the pressure up even more.
