I think he wants to play in Vic!!

But I would not be unhappy picking him up!

I'd love to get Caracella, although he's more a flanker than a true midfielder. Also, as Scott notes, he seems to want to go back to Melbourne (but I'm sure we could snare him if we really wanted to).
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

I'd be very happy with Caracella, but with out PSD pick possibly as low as #12, I suspect he's outside our grasp. Collingwood will get him.

Does Collingwood have the salary cap room?

(How is the VCE going Charlie?)

            a) Probably, considering Buckley is on the vet's list and they just sacked a few players.

            b) One exam to go and I'm FREE.

              I must be missing something.

Where does it say he is leaving the Lions?

(Only suggests that it is a done deal, it isn't a done deal as far as I know)

No chance to get him in PSD as he will be long gone before our pick

If he went in the National Draft we would have to use pick 31 to get him, even then i don't believe he'd last that long

I don't think there's much point anyway as it seems pretty clear that he wants to go back to Melbourne

He wont go in the national draft as players via that route only get the base package.

In the pre-season draft he can nominate the package he wants before the draft, and whoever drafts him has to pay it.

Experienced players are, I believe, entitled to nominate a package in either draft.

Not sure if it has changed, but Shannon Grant as an Under 18 player nominiated his proposed fee in the 1994 draft as a way of turning off the swans drafting him (didn't turn us off obivously).

                          caracella would be worth consideration

though he doesnt fit the mould of what we need
Theres not much left to say

                            Bit soft, IMO.

Would take him for free in the National draft. But we would be wanting to use him as an outside midfielder, not a small forward. Don't remember if he spent most of his time in the forward line for the Dons. If that is his only trick then he is of no use to us at his age.
