    Jarrod Schofield?

We have two Boltons, two Barry's, two Davis'...

    Do we want two Jarrods?

We have a few already....although spelling differs...

    McVeigh, Crouch, Sundqvist

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

      PRO:
He gets a lot of footy.

If he puts a big number on his head, we would be one of the few clubs that would have salary cap space for him (even though our pick is likely to be late-ish; however not all teams participate in the PSD so this isn't necessarily a prohibiting factor).

      CON:
He would be 30 before he ever played a game for us.

In order to take anyone in the PSD we would have to delist another player... who? Sundqvist? Powell? Malceski?

      CONCLUSION:
      Probably...
      meh.

There seems to be a large number of names thrown up for the PSD this year, more than normal IIRC. Is this a result of a lack of action during the trade period? Anyhow, with so many seemingly nominating for this draft, perhaps there may still be a decent player available when we get a pick. And then a decision will have to be made about delisting another player to make space. May be interesting.
