Now that I've knocked up 1000 posts, does that mean I can nominate for the PSD?

      Spriggs

My mate down at the Cattery reckons Spriggs is on his way to the Swans - he's been talking to them over the last few days sorting out the finer details.....
So if the Swans think so highly of him, why is he training with the Blues?

Cheaper for the swans, if Carlton keep him fit down here for them.

So we should get him then??

I think we should, but only at pick 59. By the sounds of it, his terms aren't that agreeable, so he will most likely stick around till 59 unless Carlton are desparate and use up a higher pick.

to what extent can a national draftee set terms? i thought they had little say in matters and in the pre-season draft could they nominate salaries and so on.

as has been said, being cut from geelongs midfield is no disgrace, so i think he'll definitely get picked up.

carlton are desperate. it's now that those lost draft picks are going to start to bite as those earlier ones would be maturing this year.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

Hmm, the Cats. I wonder if Cressa has told Roos something we don't know. Gotta have faith I guess (until we get invited to help in the draft (daft?) selection).
