www.footydraft.com is reasonably complimentary. He sounds more like a traditional centreman than a rover.

The Swans scared me with just how close they went to running out of time...
      We hate Anthony Rocca
      We hate Shannon Grant too
      We hate scumbag Gaspar
      But Leo WE LOVE YOU!

        Jarred Moore
        Details:
        Club: Langwarrin/Dandenong
        DOB: 6 March 1986 Hgt: 178cm Wgt: 84kg
        Position: Centreman
        Natural Foot: Right

        Honours:
        Victoria Metro 2004
        All Australian 2004
Centre in TAC Cup team of the Year 2004
        Dandenong Best and Fairest 2004
        National Draft Camp 2004

        TAC Stats:
        2003: 18 games, 6 goals, 21.4 PPG
        2004: 16 games, 14 goals, 27.8 PPG

Strengths: Moore is a barrel-chested centreman who works incredibly hard in close and is a very smart footballer. He is brilliant in close, and his disposal by hand is sensational. Is prepared to take a hit to get the footy, is very strong in the hips and his hands are very clean.

Moore is prepared to use either foot and gathers a lot of possessions during a game. Pretty good mark for his size as well. His final game for Vic Metro was as dominant a performance as you will see, winning numerous clearances and hitting targets.

Weaknesses: Basically, he is a footballer, not an athlete, and that could cost him. Pace isn?t that great, and he can be too cute at times. Already 84kg, so probably doesn?t have much physical improvement left in him. Big query over his endurance.

Footydraft.com comment: Sam Mitchell has proven blokes like him can make it, it's just a question of which club is willing to take the gamble. Has a lot to offer

Jeeeeez they took enough time to decide! I think they got the "10 seconds" call...

Moore sounds pretty good according to 'burgatron' on afl.com.au.

We now have 3 178cm guys under 19 years of age - hopefully 1 or 2 or even 3 get a game this year.

While complimentary, he was rated a 4th Round Pick, but Moore was our selection in the afl.com.au phantom draft.

With our next pick there are a few options available if we go with a young key position player.

                      Oh FFS

Another bloody pretty boy midfielder who can't kick the bloody ball, just what we needed.

Look at it this way - Spriggs WILL get a game make no mistake about it... Whether he last more than 1 or 2 seasons will be interesting.

We need a KPP with our last pick!
