My Sister in Law teaches at the Primary School he attended. She says he's a nice kid from a nice family. Apparently his brother (Adrian) is also a good player. My Nephews also tell me that the Moore boys are considered local legends in the underage footballing fraternity.

Interestingly enough, David Boon was the fastest Australian cricketer over the same distance (or maybe 10m) for a while. I would say that he was a cricketer first and an athlete about 10th. But I agree that it will make interesting viewing seeing him, hopefully, progress...
Boony was a drinker first, second and third (54 cans of beer between Melbourne & London), a cricketer fourth and an athlete only when he was 15-16 years of age....Well somebody told me, You had a boyfriend, Who looks like a girlfriend,That I had in February of last year, It's not confidential, I've got potential

Meh - Sean Astin doesn't (always) have blonde hair or hairy feet and he looks a lot like Samwise Gamgee...Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Jarred played all his junior footy at Langwarrin where his family just about run the club.My cousin was in his team there and I saw most matches. In his last year there Moree practically won the GF on his own.He is a ball magnet and just shruggs his opponents out of the way.He had to choose between footy and cricket and I hope for our sake he has picked the right one for us.He got a scholarship to a top school for his cricket. He has a younger brother who will probably come through the TAC and an elder bro who is a genuine cricketer.Comment

Just to update you all, when some is a star at a local club/league means he is qualified to scrape into the AFL. The standard is raised to a level where being a natural ball winnner is not enough. The ones who usually stand out above the rest are the ones who work hardest on top of their natural ability.
Not that I don't hold out hope for Moore who I believe is a top pick up.Staying ahead of the game...Comment
