    1. Saints
    2. Weagles at home
    3. Freo at home
    4. Roos at Manuka
    5. CW at Oz Stadium

I still think the best WOULD have been Ess at the MCG if only the umpires hadn't gotten in the way

Roos at Manuka was great (the drive home was awesome, honking and cheering at all the other fans and even seeing some of the players at the petrol station).

Also loved Saints at home and Collingwood at Telstra- I probably had the best seat in the house (front row at about 55m from goal) when Tadhg kicked that goal. I was on a high for about a week.

I'm surprised this game hasn't been mentioned earlier. This win followed two losses to Freo and the Cats and an unconvincing win over Adelaide. Kick-started our run to the finals and continued our recent good form over the 3 time premiers; something most other clubs have been unable to achieve.

The singing that day was TOP NOTCH. Was great fun, everyone sitting together having a good time. Thought we were goners half way through the 2nd quarter. Then we just came out of nowhere, even if the footy was kind of indirect.

From what Benny_W and the gang were saying at the Basketball the other night, we might be spending a couple of days down there this time around (Kings finals pending of course ). Would be good to do the touristy things in Canberra then hit Manuka on the Sunday.

How I forget this match I'll never know. Great match to be at and like yourself I made a late decision to make the trip up. Managed to get some $39 flights and went up with my Lions supporting brother. Ah great result, great night and finally the jinx was broken.

round 1 at the gabba is a stand out for me. Yes we lost and yes it was touted a boring game. The first quarter to see Nicky D on fire was inspirational. Goodesy also was a running machine until his little niggle. The game was lost as a spectacle after that until the final minutes of the final quarter. We lost in an uneventful game by 2 points. Could've won it and if we had it may have been remembered as one where we got off to a good lead and then dug in under adversity. Maybe as it was my first trip to the Gabba and my first time holding the banner as the players ran onto the field that sways me, but it's a night I wont forget.

The Manuka game is also a good one. I came home early from our week away in Huskisson (much to Hubby's disgust) only to drive to Canberra the next day (again much to Hubby's disgust) and sit at quarter time saying to my Sister "He'll (Hubby) be peeing himself over this". We came good and had a great trip home making a name game to fit the players names on the way.

The Pies game only because Pebbles got off to a great start so JF (after a SMS from me) had to get someone hold up the brand new "Pebbles You ROK" banner I'd painted that week for the cheer squad (had to mention him in here some where)

The Lions game at the SCG - we couldn't possibly do it to them again, that would make 4 on the trot (H&A games that is). And the Heritage Guernseys looked great.

The spirit of the Melbourne game at the Dome. We took friends who were novices down for the weekend. Hubby (who is totally anti AFL unless it means a junket trip and the other male drinking at the bar) leaving My Sis, My Friend and I to watch the game. The raw emotion when the siren went and the privilege of watching Jason Ball in particular walk an emotional tight rope had us singing Cheer Cheer all the way back up Bourke street to our hotel.

Sitting with my feet on the metal fence in the front row while an electrical storm was happening around me at the Weagles final. Being totally drenched and loving every minute of watching Robbie and co doing their rain dance and seeing JF walking in the top tier with his drum getting the chant going.

And finally the St Kilda final. Even though the game sucked and we were booted out, seeing my 3 year old niece waving my flag in my lounge room after we kicked goal and wanting to do so when the saints did too. It was the first time she had been made to watch a game. I was baby sitting them and there was no way Barbie was going to even make an appearance. She loved it. I hated the result. But guys we've got another little girl loving the Swans, even if it's only because she can wave the flag when Aunty Teen says it's ok to do so.

I want a premiership but in a year when it doesn't happen, memories like this last one is what makes the journey to one all the more special to me. Hopefully she'll grow up telling her kids she remembers when .......... and look what we've achieved since (Fingers crossed for next year)

I tried everything on the night to forget about it, even getting myself knocked out didn't work

I think I forgot to thank you for that as I was almost right next you as it happened. All I remember hearing was an hollow sound and then you were on the ground. I know it was the first time we'd met and I've heard I can make an impression on people, but really I didn't know my presence was that over powering

Ugh - now I see 'the journey'!!

The win over Brisbane at the SCG was great, but the last quarter was one of the most pathetic, boring and embarrassing quarters I have ever witnessed!!

In spite of the pathetic footy we played, I did like the Saints final simply because it was my first-ever trip to Melbourne and my first-ever trip to the MCG. It was like a footy pilgrimage. Definitely an experience to remember

For me it was the Carlton game because I was there on the terraces with the unbelievably stupid Carlton fans who have NO BLOODY IDEA of the rules of the game. And then to see that ridiculous turnaround when we flicked the switch and came from 5 goals down!!!!! Ha, ha, ha.....(but I did keep a lid on it at the ground, I'm not suicidal!)

Most luxurious performance was, of course, against St. Kilda at the SCG.

I'm going to splurge on a $129 membership instead of an $89 one this year...so I might get to see my first game in Sydney....and the Grand final. What the hell!

Probably the West Coast final for me. We got absolutely soaked through, but the atmosphere with the thunder and lightening was awesome. It made a slightly boring game much more thrilling. I also wasn't really sure that we were going to win, so the result was nice too.

I didn't/don't have a fav but my worst game I went to was the Port Adel game. Not only because we lost, It was the first drive on the Hwy for this year, I wasn't used to it, I was stuffed & I am not a fan of Adelaide the place itself.
