    Turning off forums?

Is it possible to turn off/ignore forums like you can with people?

Now that the Cheer Squad is finally a separate one (yay!) I'd really be happy if I could completely turn off/ignore (automatically that is) that forum and the one on NSW regional.

Yes you can, browse to http://redandwhiteonline.com/forum/f...p?s=&forumid=1 and don't click on the NSW or Cheer Squad forum links!

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Because I find everything to do with the cheer squad or NSW regional comps mind-numbingly boring!

I use the 'search new posts' function and because I'm lazy it's just easier if they are already filtered out!

I tend to use the icons as a guide of where new posts are. If you look through a list of threads, those that have new posts since you last visited have the little down arrow next to the title, and if you click on that, it even takes you to the first unread post. That way you're able not only to see what's new, but you can choose to ignore things you have no interest in.

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I'm not really that fussed -- I just find any threads on the cheer squad or NSW football intensely boring and even seeing them pop up makes me feel aggrieved and insulted by their very boringness...

                            Luckily, it's not a problem.

He's already on their "ignore" list.
