    Saddington hopes for better luck

    Saddington hopes for better luck

"I was playing up forward and it was a bit of a change and I was really enjoying it as I was managing to play some sort of good football.

"But on a whole the last few years it's been disappointing that I haven?t achieved the hype that I have wanted to and seen a few of the other players at the club do it and I suppose that makes it a bit harder that you want to do it as well but not quite doing it.

"But I want to be a better footballer and hopefully I can do that."
Saddington started running six weeks ago and believes his recovery is on track to start full pre-season training in January.

"Although admitting he was often beaten playing at centre half-back in the past two seasons before being moved forward, the 1998 Rising Star nominee still hopes to be considered for his preferred position as he's confident it is one he can "hold down and get better at".

Saddington feels added pressure to hit peak form after hearing his name mentioned during trade week."

Hopefully he'll improve, not that confident of it happening though.
