    Pre Season Training Location

Does anyone know where the swans are training this year? After the number of injuries that could possibly be attributed to the shoddy conditions during last preseason, I would hope they have found somewhere better.

Seen them a few times already on 'Lakeside', plus they have been doing some running in Centennial Park.

So I take it nothing is changing from last year? I'm dreading seeing the same number of hamstring injuries in 2005.

It is a secret. They don't want dumbos on this site reporting that we are doomed to failure because our Nov/Dec ball skills are woeful.

But dont they need us spreading the gospel of inadequacy so that the entire football media community write us off, yet again allowing the swans to fly under the radar?

They've had a few training sessions at Weigall oval - which is the sports ground Sydney Grammer use at Rushcutter's Bay

But that place is covered with cricket pitches at the moment, and its far from the best surface.

Kind of indicates that even after 20 years we still cannot provide our club at footy's highest level a decent playing arena on which to train in the pre-season.

That bus stop oval is Dodge City. There are always big divets where the soccer posts go in and out.
