Fantastic!! Im sick of travelling to rough public bars to get the foxtel to watch the swans play, I can relax in my own home now,
and rant and rave without constantly looking over my shoulder at the constant trouble around the pool tables.

It?s my guess that every Swans Sunday game will be shown on FTA TV by Channel 9 this year. Ch 9s Sunday afternoon programming usually consists of a live AFL game from 1:00pm followed by a delayed coverage of another game at 4 o?clock (AFL in Melbourne, NRL in Sydney).
Every Swans Sunday game this year starts at 1:10 (except for the away game against the Roos at Manuka which is at 12:30). There are no other early (1:10) games scheduled against the Swans on these Sundays, any other games start at 2:10 or later. The only live AFL games that Channel 9 can show on Sundays (at 1:00) when the Swans are playing are ours.
The Swans only play once on a Friday night this year, that?s the Round 5 Anzac Day match against Melbourne at the SCG. I?d guess that this match would also be broadcast to Sydney and Melbourne by Ch 9, probably on delay at around 7:30 (in Melbourne) and a lot later in Sydney (coz they will have NRL commitments).
It?s a lot more difficult to predict the Saturday situation as far as FTA TV is concerned; there are far too many variables. If the Swans start to do well, then I reckon that Ch 10 may consider broadcasting them earlier than 9:30 into Sydney (apart from the 2 remaining Homebush games that have already been announced will be shown live). It?s too hard to say what Ch 10s position will be in Melbourne.
I think it's fairly easy to say what Channel 10's position in Melbourne will be on Saturday nights:
If the Swans are playing one of the 'big 4' (Collingwood, Essendon, Richmond, Carlton - except maybe Carlton because they suck at the moment) the game will probably be shown on FTA in Melbourne
if we are playing one of the 'lesser Melbourne teams' - it's a 'maybe but probably not'
and if we are playing a non-vic team then forget it
