Flights to Brisbane match - April 9

Hello all
Qantas currently have flights available for April 9th @ $87 Sydney to Brisbane; $91 Brisbane to Sydney. Based on past years, does anyone think cheaper flights will become available closer to the date ?? Thanks.

Possibly, but it comes down to a matter of you deciding if you want to wait and see if the prices come down, meaning if they do you save money, but if they don't you risk missing out on seats at the price currently advertised.

I've booked my flights at the rates you mentioned - I did this about 5 weeks ago now.

I have about 15 going up for that game. A friend moved up there last year and now we're going to make it a regualr thing where we all go up to visist and also watch the game.

Hopefully I can sort out the flights as there seems to be heaps of us going up and coming back on different days. I'll probably use Swans travel again. they are pretty good and the flights we got last year were cheap $178 return with no extra conditions that usually apply to cheap flights.

I got on Qantas $153 return. Cheap seats already gone on some flights.

You would have to check with Qantas but I doubt whether they have done the rosters yet. It could be the Cpatain's 100th flight I suppose. But why would it matter?

April 9 is my birthday, and I don't think I'd get away with an interstate trip to the footy.
