    Hi all,

    I met with Myles Baron-Hay (CEO) and Stephen Gilsenen (CFO) at the Club today. They confirmed that the Club receives funding from the Telstra sponsorship based on the number of hits that the Club's website gets. This year, the Swans came 9th in funding.

    Change your home page to be www.sydneyswans.com.au now!

    This is something that we can all do to help the Club with funding. Get everyone that you know who cares about the Swans to do the same.

    This is not gossip or rumour, I had it direct from the top, so please take this seriously and help out the Club today.

          This is the wrong reason to click the site - while I do check it a few times each week one should not reward bad web design and a lack of content. People should be drawn there for a reason. Maybe they have a forum attached I am sure then they would see more people going to the site.

                      The site is good. As blinddog said, if there was a Forum attatched, the hits would overload!

                              It's very simple. If there is an interesting article on ss.com.au every day, then I will go and read that interesting article every day.

                              They're got more than 40 players on the list. Plenty of staff. They have functions, training sessions, etc etc. I don't think it'd be hard to find things to write about.

                              Having people to churn out those articles on the other hand....

                              177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....
