sydneyswans.com.au: Most outstanding pre-season trainer?
DM: Ryan O?Keefe
V proud!
S: Strongest player?
DM: Barry Hall.
Not surprised!Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them. -
I said it before and I'll say it again, Jarred Moore will be a real contributor for us in 2005.
It will only take one or two midfield injuries for this kid to get his shot in "the show" and then he'll feature regularly, reckon 10 games in 2005.The Pain of Discipline is Nothing Like The Pain of DisappointmentComment

Dave Misson was supposed to be commenting on performances in pre-season training.
Yet this article states that:While the players prepare for the 2005 season, the club's Elite Performance Manager David Misson gives his assessment on pre-season training to date:
S: Most accurate goal kicker?
Answered by Brett Allison: Barry Hall
S: Strongest player?
DM: Barry Hall.
.The 27-year-old, who had arthroscopic surgery in September, has been following an individual program for the past six weeks but joined the main squad for skills training yesterday.
Swans physio Matt Cameron was confident the delayed start to Hall's pre-season would not have a detrimental effect come the regular season.
WTF Hall's supposed to the most accurate goal kicker during the pre-season, yet he is recovering from an ankle operation and has only just joined the group for pre-season training - I doubt that he's even touched a football since September.

Since Barry wouldn't have missed a goal in the pre-season, he's definitely the most accurate

No, different things - Barry hasn't been training with the main playing group, but this hasn't precluded him from undertaking strength conditioning and alternative training types such as swimming. As such, it's entirely feasible his strength training has been his main focus, and thus he is in fact the strongest player among the group.Originally posted by bricon
