Unfortunately I don't think they have the ability to make the decision themselves. To my understanding, the AFL has a contract with Telstra that involves Telstra doing the official AFL site as well as the official sites for all 16 clubs.

That would involve the club actually telling us the truth about things like injuries.

In Melbourne you have 3-4 reporters at each club's traing, so there is no chance for people to be fobbed-off with half-truths.

Up here, the Swans know that they can get away with 'scripting' their responses in relation to things like this.

In their eyes, the less info given out, the better. Which frustrates us members even more.

And they have the hide to keep pleading for members to join up.And wonder why they don't......
