    Jason Ball interview on SEN

This morning on SEN Scotty Cummings interviewed Jason Ball and whilst it was mainly tongue in cheek, with Jason being Scott's Best Man, there were some interesting little bits.

It was interesting when the guys asked who had impressed Jason amongst tghe new comers and the players mentioned were David Spriggs, Demspster and Jarred Moore.

Whilst we all have acknowledged that spriggsy is a phenomenal middle distance runner, the proof will be how he performs over the next couple of season, I think he adds depth to our midfield, which is a good thing.

However, it is interesting that Jarred Moore has been mentioned again.

Dave Missen (sorry about the spelling) had aslo mentioned about Jarred's skills and how well he was training.

Whilst we all know we have the policy of not expecting too much of 1st year players, injury permitting, Jarred just might slip in for a couple of games this year if he plays as well as he is training.

Also Jason mentioned Sean Dempster, I am looking forward to seeing him get a couple of games this year and assist as a Tall utility in the firsts this year.

It is good to hear this positive information from one of our senior players.

I am looking forward to Saturday February the 19th against the Bulldogs at Docklands.

    Have fun everyone

    Great update, thanks Whale.

You start to get the feeling there is a groudswell for Moorey within the club for him to play some senior games this year.

Personally, I'm looking forward to the night of the 11 of Feb. Roosy will play all the kids that night, yet so very few will get to play AFL footy this year.

The contests within the club will be tighter and more intriguing than the one against the Dons that's for sure.
