    Given that Mott is now on Freo's rookie list.. uhhh.. could be tough.

    well, the decisions have been made, and we've hit a bit of bad luck with Doyle's injury.

    {APU}Anyone over 6 feet tall please to be making your way to the centre square. Thank you, come again.{/APU}

    177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

                Great and I didn't even mean anything about Des height, I was suggesting Crouch will be ruckman at this rate

                  I thought Ball had a significant impact on the weekend. It gave us the flexibility to use Goodes around the ground.

                  Would anyone still like to argue that he should go back to the Redbacks for a few weeks before returning to the seniors in a "match fit" state?
                  "As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
                  Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.

                    Ball definitely showed some good signs. We need him on the park, and that means he's going to have to get that match fitness playing seniors, whether we like it or not. The fact is, he's a very important member of our best 22 and we can't afford to not have him out there.

                      Yep Ball is building nicely at the moment after so long off from the game. Not to far off a blinder imo, and it is so great to have him out there to support goodes, because goodes also wouldnt have done so well if ball wasnt out there helping, everyone needs a break including goodes.

                        goodesy was rooted, i think in the 3rd quarter he was on the interchane bench and walking in front of us and he barely had the energy to get a drink... tried his guts out!

                          Would it be worthwhile giving Meiklejohn a bit of game time (off the bench) maybe allowing Goodes and Ball to be used on the ball and up forward/half forward respectively? This would also allow him a bit of a taste and experience just in case (dare I say it) something happens to one of our existing two ruckmen.

                              Corrrect me if I'm wrong, but Crouch had a hit out this week, didn't he?

                              Scary, my friends, very scary.
