According to Google it's about 1 use of "Tadgh" for every 4 uses of "Tadhg".

It's an improvement from the early days, but until recently, one of the biggest culprits was actually afl.com and the Swans site. It seems they *may* just be learning!

Maybe he should change it to something simpler, like Ty, or Tie.

I think they should take 10 minutes before the start of the game to teach the crowd how to spell and pronounce it

Except that it's pronounced Ti-g (like Tiger, without the r).

                      I believe so.

Probably best to ask him, though...

Yep, in his own words (as already mentioned) its like Tiger without the r.

                        I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

no, thats wing chun kung fu, or jeet kun do. But I can see how you can mistake that for Tie-g.

A lot of Gaelic, Welsh, Irish names are spelt differently from how they sound. Sometimes you blame the parents though. As for Craig Davis being a wanker, I know people who know him who think differently but he was not an average footballer. He kicked nearly 90 goals as a 6 foot full forward in a grand final team including 4 on a wet grand final day. He also led the goalkicking the following year in a career marred by life threatening illness.
                              LIFE GOES ON
