    If Micky O comes in...

OK, Before the teams are posted today, what's you call, who is going to go out.

Could see this day coming for a while, we seem to be heavy on for small forwards (Davis, Scheider, O'Loughy).

Simple solution is Schneider for Micky but I wouldn't mind seeing Schneider stay in and become a bigger part of the midfield rotation.
Kirk's work last week was overrated IMO with Headland being well down on his game, that said you would think McLeod will have to tagged.
Did McPherson do enough last week, hard to drop him after just one reasonable game.
    Who's it going to be??

I think it may well be Frosty who misses out, but what about moving Nicks back across HB for someone there?

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

NOt sure who should make way for Magic. Warfey is probably the obvious one, but it may not happen. Personally I think it may be time for Ryan O'Keefe to lift. This weekend may be his last opportunity otherwise.

I'm not confident that meeting Adelaide first up following a seriously interrupted pre-season is the ideal re-introduction for Magic either.

Schauble out,Powell in,Oloughlin in Mcpherson out,LRT in Stevens out,Ablett in Matthews out.Shuffle the deck so we don't die wondering.

As much as Schauble tries, its no coincidence that the backline looked less mobile and dysfunctional with him in it last week.Perhaps CHF is his go.

IMHO Schaubs is struggling for match fitness, once fit, you'd definitely have him in a key position in the backline, till then I think we may see him taking the odd break across half-forward where he can use his height and marking skills to some effect. He isn't too bad a kick for goal either.

You'd have to imagine that tonight it would be:

                  IN: O'Loughlin, Ablett, Sundqvist/Powell

                  And tomorrow night:

                  IN: O'Loughlin
                  OUT: O'Keefe

O'Keefe is probably the only player they seem to have been unable to find a real role for in the past 2 weeks, and with Magic likely to spend some time on the bench, IMO Ryan will be the one to make way (unless they have a certain role in mind for him).

i like o'keefe, maybe he needs fixter in to play well but i do agree that he hasnt been playing all that well, i think he needs a permanent position in the forward line to be most effective... imo he isnt really an all round the ground type player

IMO O'Keefe isn't a forward anyway, but he's going to struggle to get opportunities ahead of Hall, Stevens, O'Loughlin, Davis, Nicks, Ball/Doyle/Goodes etc.

IMO he needs to be groomed into a running defender, probably taking up the role of a Rowan Warfe.

It's just incredibly hard to make your mark when you're used as a bit-part forward or on and off the bench.

                          I would agree with that.

In the last two weeks whenever Ryan got the ball he would hold up play by taking too long to kick. He has been too indecisive IMO.

There is nothing more frustrating than seeing a potential flow of play held up by a player who is, dare I say, maybe thinking a bit too much and not relying on instinct. That applies to the whole team IMO.

I guess though as the season progresses these instincts will sharpen.

I am curious to see whether Ryan is best fit for the team. The forward line looks to be crowded with Micky, Davis, Ball and Stevens already. There might not be a spot for him there. Where else could we put him? I am not convinced Ryan could play as an winger. He is a bit too slow to play in the back half and a bit too clumsy to play on the ball.

O'Keefe should play in the Centre IMO.
