    Our future stars

Yet another fluff piece in the calm before the storm, this one again focussing on Schneider but with confirmation that he's worked really hard since Christmas.

This para maybe tells us who Roos thinks represents the future of the club - no surprises but still good to read.

"Schneider, along with the likes of Tadhg Kennelly, Jarrad McVeigh, Amon Buchanan, Ryan O'Keefe and Nick Davis represent a pool of young Swans players Roos has high hopes for."

And here is what is essentially another version of the same fluff on Schneider, but it does confirm that his fitness is more than just back to his 2003 level - he has moved forward.

Why do I have a feeling that this is one of our best prepared pre-seasons.

Everyone seems to be "fitter and faster" (and stronger)and "gearing for a big 2005".

We have very few major injury worries. (barring Crouchy and Schaubs). The young kiddies are all pumped trying to impress the selectors.

We seem to have plenty of depth, across the field, esp in the Ruck and Midfield brigade.

We still have an outstanding forward line, who all seem to be injury free.

And Goodes has improved his dodgy knees from last year.

Lets hope this good feeling, continues all through winter, and WELL into September.

I declared in 2002 that we would peak in 2005, and that I was feeling good about our flag chances.

That was before Roosy stole my prediction and made his 'three year plan', too.

Try the Mick Dundee test. Works 9 times out of 10!!

Used to be a thread somewhere where ppl posted there gender, must have been binned a long time ago.

But generally, most of the posters here are male, except for all the ones that are female, and then there are the ones who aren't sure or undecided.

You didn't know that we are all female!! This site was set up for unemployed Swanettes (past and future) and we take out name from our part of the chants or dance routines.
