According to this report, he is still in a sling, which isn't too promising.

There was no sling evident at NSO

Did he look like he needed one?

Your picture (edited) shows him with his arms folded.

I wonder how much movement he has.

Bear in mind that was from the very start of the month, and it was over a week between the last time I'd seen Courchy on the camp, and the NSO match. When I spoke to Crouchy in Wollongong he didn't give a real indication of how long her expected to still be ina sling or off the track or anything, but was just incredibly eager to get back on the field.

I spoke to Jarred the other day. He is realistically hopeful of being back by Round 1. If iw as a betting man, i would have my money on him playing.
            - Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!

Paul Roos was on radio SEN in Melbourne yesterday and was asked if Jared would be right to play in round 1 and Roosy said that in his opinion he would not be ready but Jared's opinion was that he would be ready. He was asked if he would play Jared, if he was close to being fit enough, to keep the streak going and Paul said no he wouldn't - and he said that Jared would only expect to be selected if he was fit to play and for no other reason ie: streak.
