Swans v W Bulldogs Wizard Cup on TV

I read in The Guide today that the Swans v W Bulldogs game is going to be shown on Ch 10 in Sydney from 2.30pm on Saturday. Praise to Ch 10 for doing this. Their commitment to the Swans is so much better than it ever was at Ch 7.

Well done Channel 10. As you say cruiser, much better than what we got with Channel 7. Anyone in Sydney keen on watching the game at our new social club?

Scott, you must realise that AFL is the only thing that doesn't come under the banner of - "blood is thicker than water".

Better planning and toughness is required on your part mate.

Over a span of 35 years I can only recall 3 times where family stood in the way of footy.

One was when my first child was on the way at 1.00pm on Easter Monday 1980. I was literally walking out of the door when my wife called me back. Our daughter was born at 7.30pm. I took my trannie to the hospital and the nurses all thought I was mad and insensitive (none were Swans supporters). We beat the dogs by 4 goals on a magnificent Melbourne Autumn day. The hospital was only 5 minutes from the ground. I was spewing because I could easily have sqeezed the game in, and got to the hospital with 2 hours to spare.

Anyone that knows my mob understands it is no point inviting us to anywhere when the Swans are playing, whether live or on the telly.

Ch 7 were nowhere near as bad as those pretentious morons @Ch 9.However i do enjoy the coverage and the relaxed feel on Ch 10 and i agree with cruiser about the commitment to the swans.
Well done Craig Bolton for getting the co- captaincy in 2008.

No Freemasons, and 5 minutes from the Lake Oval. Only played at the G in those days when we played Melbourne or Richmond. The good old days.

Anyone with a people-meter tv ratings thingu is BANNED from the social club and MUST watch the game live.

In fact they're BANNED from attending any matches also!

                            We want the ratings boosted.
