    Eade our newest member?

If the Swans can sign more new members than the Dogs by the end of the Wizard Cup, Eade has said he will take out a Swans membership. Roos will become a Dogs member if the Dogs sign up more new members in the same period.

    Full story here

Edit: Just found the article with the details, so obviously I did hear wrong

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Pretty cool bet actually! They seem to have a pretty good relationship and Roos was glowing in his praise of Rocket as his coach when both a player and his asst/coach.

Wonder if Rocket will ever be made a life member? Longest serving coach and all?

One would hope so, but by the sounds of that article, maybe not while Colless is at the helm.

I would think sometime in the future such a move was made, but then again it depends on what the club rules regarding life memberships are (amount of games played/years at the club)
        Once was, now elsewhere

The board has the discretion to award LM to people it thinks are worthy, even if they have not met the standard criteria.

They used this discretion last year to award LM to Schwass, Lockett, Healy and Williams (Greg) as recognition of their contributions even though they had not played the requisite 150 games or provided 10 years service.

Technically Rocket made the 150 games with us as coach though, didn't he?
