I kinda felt that at the end of last season too.
I do hope he has a great season though, love to see him either a) play some great footy and go out with a bang or b) play such great footy that he can keep playing on for maybe another few seasons...

How old is he? I hate the rule of thumb that seems to exist at the moment, that being that if a player hits the magical 30 barrier he/she is deemed too old to keep playing and should retire - he/she is past it.
And the man who started it, the Schneiderman, can kick his third for the quarter. And the swans are in the Grand Final!

Totally agree. He's been a favourite of mine, but thought he was really struggling late last season.

Who is the "she" you refer to?

Mr Maxfield hasn't been the same player since the second half on last season!

            But i love him anyway!

            Onya Stuey!!!!
Well done Craig Bolton for getting the co- captaincy in 2008.

Your determination, your tenacity and your under-rated skill is why you have become my favourite player!

I was trying not to be gender specific. Its a general comment that goes across all sports.

"She" could play across HB next to Schneids, to add a bit of skirt to height that he would give to that line. "She" could play on the "girls" in the forward line of opposition sides.

Not all sports: golf, lawn bowls and NHL hockey (Messier is 44) don't respect this "cutoff".

                    could that be me?
some sports, and the press do harp on it, that this 'cutoff' comes up quite often.
just wanted to know what people think about it
