Swans players with solid starts to the Season

Tadhg Kennelly - 18 possessions in both of the open 2 matches
Adam Goodes - 28 posessions and 18 possessions in first 2 matches
Adam Schneider - 14 posessions and 9 possessions in his first 2 games of AFL footy, impressive kid.
Jason Saddington - Solid in defense in the first 2 matches (12 and 16 posessions)
Craig Bolton - 11 possessions and 17 possessions. Looks like a handy pickup. Good skills.
Nic Fosdike - 20 possessions and 19 possessions in his first 2 matches. Looking good this year.

    Disappointing so far:
    S. Maxfield, R.Warfe, S.Stevens, R.O'Keefe

I have to agree with that list.

Best player so far for mind has been Goodes, lets hope he keeps it up.

And these are the exact same players who we all would have said need to step up if we are to have a good season at the start of the year.

All we need is a mid-age players like O'Loughlan, Nicks, Schauble, etc to recapture their best form, and we'll travel very nicely.

Yeh goodes is the standout out for me, even starting to be talked up as a geniune player in melbourne circles. Dare I mention the word "brownlow" being bandied around too.

I reckon Goodes could have a real crack at the Brownlow this year, too. Nicks appears to be travelling a little better also (or is it just me?).

I have been happy with how Nicks is played so far (expect for his kicking at goal last week). This is a good sign after the way he finished off the season last year, which saw him bagged no end. If he can keep presenting himself week in-week out, he will be a very handy player because as a forward he is so hard to match up on.

Craig Bolton has impressed me so far, if we had a solid Full back in the team like Dunks I can only think how he could rip teams apart.

I think Goodes is so much the dominant player on our list, that if we have a winning season, he will win the Brownlow.

It's all relative. Even if Voss and Black both have better seasons, they will take votes off each other I think (even though this theory has failed to stop the Brownlow going to Brissie the last two years, I'm sticking by it!!!)
              We hate Anthony Rocca
              We hate Shannon Grant too
              We hate scumbag Gaspar
              But Leo WE LOVE YOU!

i think goodes will win it in a couple of years

i reckon tadhg has the flare that could snare him one as well

And to think people rated goodes as serious trade bait last year,
                  makes me wonder
Its great to see him signed up for 5 years
