    Young players to play seniors.

after watching the wizard cup the players who impressed me were Josh Willoughby and Jarred Moore, i would think both could play senior footy this year, especially willoughby.
Theres not much left to say

I thought that Dempster was okay as well, not the best of the youngies but still okay.

I reckon the games so far have been very instructive.

        Big Blokes
Has "The Hyphen" bulked up or what (pity about the peroxide accident though). I reckon he's played 6 GREAT quarters at CHB. Heath James did very well against Chris Grant.

IMHO Doyle has been playing far better than Jolly so far (and I was very impressed with young Earl Shaw against Footscray especially).

Vogels looks a real possibility, Campbell perhaps less of a one (although his fumbling may just be nerves), Grundy ditto.

Mark Powell, still got pipecleaner arms and moves awkwardly, despite that on his efforts against the Dons and Dogs he's certain to get more games this year.

        Grass Burners
Moore seems a real goer, reminds me of Shannon Grant when he arrived.

Shaun Dempster's looking good, he has one hell of a kick on him and he looks ready for senior company.

Monty did very vell in both games (carrying on from last year) and I thought McVeigh burnt against Essendon.

At this stage I think Spriggs has overtaken Fosdike in the outside midfielder stakes. Garubba looks quick, although he didn't do a lot when he played against Essendon.

Katrina (Nick Potter) seems to have beefed up and developed serious desperation, well done.

The other player I've noticed is Ed Clarke (hearafter refered to as Mr. Ed, because he's as big as a horse). I can not believe he's a kid, nowonder he went through the other kids at the underage carnival last year like a dose of salts.

Potter showed a fair amount of desparation last year too - I think it is a positive facet of his game.

I watched a bit of the replay of the game yesterday and was quite impressed by a couple of things that Potter did. He showed tenacity, yet, but also some smart thinking.

He's not AFL ready yet but if he really puts his mind to it this year he could get there.
