Was surfing on the FC Bayern page this morning whilst listening to a webcast of the 3-1 win over Arsenal from Muenchen this morning
and came across a link which had all the logos the club has ever had since it was formed in 1908
I was wanting to start a thread about all the logos the club has had as South Melbourne and the Sydney Swans since it was started.
I have the two most recent logos saved as URLs below.

Personally I far prefer the 1996 logo as opposed to the present day one. It has a snarling Swans (with teeth!
) with wings neatly fitting into the silhouette of the the Opera House on the logo.As far as I'm concerned the Swans on the present day logo looks like one of those cane handles you use to pull bad performers of a stage.
Plus I hate having a mainly white logo. It looks just terrible seeing the SCG filled with people waving amoemic white flags as opposed to firey red ones. We have the opportunity as members to create an ambiance similar to that at the Soccer World cup 2002 where everyone wore red shirts to support the Korean national team. Personally I would love a club logo with a tad more red in in. What are you thoughts? Which club logo do you like the best?
Does anyone have any pictures of all the old logos/emblems the club has used over the years?
