In lieu of banner-making being cancelled for tomorrow, Benny_W and I are interested in making a trip up to the game in Newiw tomorrow.

I'm assuming we may have next to near on a full car. Am pretty sure both Boofhead and Scatch will consider going.

Anyone else going to be up there? Anyone keen on meeting up before/after the match for a drink?

We'll be behind the goals. And will have the big flags. Come and say G'day if you can extract yourselves out from the hospitality tent down the other end.

    COME ON YOU REDS!

Latest team news (from www.sydneyswans.com.au) is that Nicks is out of the game tomorrow (illness) and Moore comes in to replace him.

It's not clear whether that is Moore coming into the squad or whether he is in the team ahead of others - like Schmidt, Powell - listed in the squad but not, according to the blurb) in the team.

I can only trust that Roos knows more than I do about where to play Goodes (not much of an ask!). But I'd still like to see LRT at CHB as much as possible and Goodes with a roving commission. Shame not to have Schauble, but I feel confident that James can give a good account of himself.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
