My money is still on Crouch to play.
Shame about Schauble, I hope he's back asap. Fortunately we don't need him quite as urgently as we used to.
As for Mickey, he's been battling with those knees for so long I'm hopeful he'll find a way even if he has to be eased in off the bench.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I read this article in the local Milk Bar (do they still exist or is everything a cafe). Did I see somewhere in this rag that there will be an AFL preview mag in Monday's Tele?

Both the Sunday Melb papers have a review mag this w/e.

They are good reads and I keep it thru the year. If you have a newsagent that has these glorified toilet papers try and get one.

I usually keep them to look at when the season is over and compare their predictions with reality. However there have also been years when I've become so disheartened that I have thrown them out in despair part way through the season.

just went on about the swans being ugly and dour and not a high scoring team.

It did say something along the lines that while they are winning games it aint ugly.

They also had Dempster as the player to watch this year.

                          Crouch to Play

                          Crouch to prolong games streak

Sydney coach Paul Roos confirmed yesterday that Crouch, who has played more consecutive games since debut than any player in the modern era, would tackle Hawthorn on Sunday at the SCG.
