Getting to SCG Swan Vs Hawk

Hi,
I just bought the 4 super matchs pass and wondering if anyone can tell me the best way car/public transport from Kellyville to SCG. I will be going with my 4 yo girl.

Welcome aboard sgswan. As a fellow westie I have always used public transport, ie train to Central and shuttle bus to the SCG. I would suggest the 10.48 from Blacktown, (ex Blue Mountains) gets into Central at 11.25 - you would be at the ground by midday (game starts at 1.10) and be able to get a good seat so your kiddie can see.

If you opt to drive, there is still parking in Moore Park ($15) or in Fox Studios (enter off Lang Rd). I don?t know if the 4 game packages include free parking at Goulburn St carpark, but there are also shuttle buses at $5 return from there to the SCG and back.

We wont be going to the Hawks match but when we do we generally travel in from the west by car and park in the Goulburn St carpark. I have a parking voucher if you want it, just PM.

Another option that may work out cheaply as well is to drive into the areas just off anzac pde towards Randwick/Kensington - around the bottom end of UNSW/NIDA the parking is all day, and within spitting distance of the SCG - you can hop on any bus (392, 393, 395, 396, 397 etc) and be dropped across from the ground on Anzac pde.

How to get to the SCG

Get out of bed at some ungodly hour on Sunday morning.
Drive from South Geelong to Tullamarine Airport.
Park car in long term carpark.
Walk to Virgin terminal.
Buy large black coffee
Get on plane
Arrive Sydney airport
Get train to Central (or if you're lucky special friends Daniel and Greg might be at the airport)
Walk from Central station to Fox complex
Have more coffee and food
Walk from Fox to SCG
