OK, so the "Swans V Hawks Team List" has been done to death in other threads (so if you're not interested just ignore this) but Saturday's reserve games threw the cat amongst the pigeons and I'm obsessing about it. Really. Seven more sleeps.
So, just for fun I thought I'd turn it into a game.
Here's how to score:
1 point for each player in your team list who makes the actual team list. [= maximum of 22 points]
1 point for picking each "line" correctly (i.e. F, HF, HB, B), flanks and pockets are interchangeable, but not key positions. [= maximum of 4 points]
1 point for picking our starting ruckman. [= maximum of 1 point]
1 point for picking our 5 starting midfielders (i.e. Wing, Wing, Centre, Ruck-Rover and Rover, in no particular order). [= maximum of 1 point]
1 point for picking the 4 interchange players (in no particular order). [= maximum of 1 point]
1 point for picking all the emergencies correctly (in no particular order). [= maximum of 1 point]
So, everyone will score out of a possible 30 points.
You can edit your prediction up until midday Wednesday (I think the initial squad will be announced Wednesday arvo because the first game is on Thursday), and judging will be against the actual team list published on Saturday.
Late team changes won't be considered.
The winner gains the title of the "Most Able to Read the Minds of the Coach and Match Committee", and the cheers and admiration of no one in particular. So... meh
