That's unbelievable! Way too far fetched. You guys must be dreaming.Occupational hazards:

Made a Sth African mate of mine sit down and watch the game... loved every minute!- Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!Comment

Sad I know, but its still the best game I ever saw. Whenever its on I watch it, and get the tingles when Lockett floats that ugly punt through for a point. Our Greatest Moment:

i think the 2005 team is more talented overall than the 1996 team, but they (well in 2004 they didnt) seem to play with the same aggression or passion, or im not sure i can define it, theres just somethingTheres not much left to sayComment

Watching the end of the game reminded me of how underestimated Kevin Dyson was. A real solid body over the ball in the midfield with solid skills. A role Cressa took on a little later in his career.
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

A great night. There by myself. Didn't even hear the final siren - looked down at my feet spewin cos Plugger missed it and when I looked up there was a puddle of red and white at HF.
I then blacked out.Insert Your Life [HERE]Comment

Cannot agree with that. Better midfield, better backline and the greatest FF of all time. We hardly had a passenger in '96.
yeh actually after watching the game last nite til 5 am or whenever it was i disagree with myself now.
I miss the obvious players from that team eg plugger and kel....but i miss the others like lewis, luff, mooney even and wade chapman was awesome there.
I do think the current team has more poetential..... i would rate the players like bevan mcviegh etc ahead of garlick, chapman and so forth...Theres not much left to sayComment

Here's hoping that sometime in the next few years we have a new favourite game that tops them all - a Grand Final that ends with red and white ribbons on the cup."Unbelievable!" -- Nick Davis leaves his mark on the 2005 semi finalComment
