    He is fit, strong, durable, consistent and fairly versatile (within limitations of being of midfield size).

    Three (or is it four now?) consecutive top 10 finishes in the B&F is testament to his consistency and the fact that he performs in the roles given to him by the coaching staff. I suspect he was leading the Swans B&F last year at around the 8 game mark in the season, before others accelerated past him.

    You won't win too many games with a team of 22 Ben Mathews-types but nor will you consistently win without one or two.

          No doubt about that.

          It will require a very large group of up-and-comers to displace him from the senior squad . . . there are at least a dozen others who'd be out before him.
