"Stuart played every game, bringing his career total to 284. His trademark left foot punch is as effective as ever,"

Agreed. The quote is correct if it includes hitting oppostion backmen on the chest when 20 metres clear of a Swan player.
If he just kicked to the top the square, regardless, his effectiveness would improve dramatically.

There is no way he finds Barry Hall anywhere near as much as he did Plugger. Have no beef about his ability to still find the footy, just his erractic disposal. Ditto Bolton J.

Great read Liz but just one error on the Stewie Maxfield

We did not receive Maxfield as compensation for the Tiges getting Darren Gaspar, in fact it was the other way around

The Swans were able to sign to out of contract players who were Maxield and Dyson. In return the 2 clubs who lost the player received the first 2 choices in the Pre-season draft.

Melbourne finished lower on the ladder and thus had 1st pick but had no salary cap space so chose Craig Nettlebeck (another ex swan via freo)

So effectively once we got Maxfield, Richmond got in Gaspar's ear to nominate for the draft and put a high price on his head and we lost him

Apparently we didn't fight that hard to retain him which was a bit of a debacle IMO
